Gentiles

The word “gentile” comes from the Latin gentilis, which means “of a family or nation.” In its broadest sense, the Bible divides all of humanity into two groups: Israel and the Nations. The word “gentile” essentially means someone who is not Jewish, someone who is from one of the many other nations that are not Israel.
