Who is Hamas?

Hamas is a Palestinian, Islamic, extreme terrorist organization located on the Gaza Strip, a stretch of land at the southern border of Israel. Hamas has been around since the late 1980’s and has always been the more violent and extreme group juxtaposed with their slightly less aggressive counterparts, the PLO, the Palestinian Liberation Organization. If you Google Hamas, you may find language branding them as a militant group, a social justice group, or freedom fighters, but this is an attempt to rebrand their identity and reshape perception. Hamas is nothing more than a terrorist group that murders Israeli citizens, women, children, and the elderly. They use Palestinian citizens as human shields and set up their rockets and their terror bases next to schools, hospitals, and apartments. They do not desire peace. They do not desire equality. They don’t even desire a Palestinian state alongside Israel. Hamas desires a world where 100% of the land of Israel is under Palestinian control, and the world is without Jews.
