The Shema (“to hear” in Hebrew) is known as the “Jewish pledge of allegiance.” It comes from Deuteronomy 6:4 and is part of Jesus’ teaching of the “greatest commandment (Mt. 22:37).” Dr. David Rudolph, of The King’s University, explains the amazing connection between the Shema and Yeshua (Jesus), and how this ancient Jewish prayer is a catalyst for unity in the Body of Messiah.
